2024 spring / summer collection “0012” something about happiness.
It's been a while since I watched the film "her " (2013, film written, directed by Spike Jonze).
The story is set in the near future, when AI (artificial intelligence) has fully developed, and the main character fancies an AI that does not have a body and nurtures love with it.
To create this look book, we used Chat GPT to make AI describe the situations of the models in the photos.
Then, for the first time, we asked for three models, including a male model to shoot the lookbook, and shot a short movie.
Depending on the photograph, the transcribed texts from events and scenes captured by AI depicted men as women and long hair as short hair.
In other words, from their point of view, our lives can be rewritten in any way at any moment, and there is a difference in perception there.
This is not necessarily a negative thing. We are always too much aware of certain predetermined values and standards, and I thought we forget how to perceive, feel, catch the information naturally and if we are not aware of it.
Those moments when you feel that no one understands you and you are in the minority However, in such moments, there may be no freer being than a pre-learning AI that has fewer assumptions and imprints.
It may be similar to the feeling we had when we were 'children' before we started learning.
When I was making these clothes, I was thinking about sexuality, how I looked, how society looked at me, and in a sense, how I categorized myself and others, and I began to question the clothes themselves, who would wear them, when they would be worn, and to whom they were made for.
As always, I wanted to focus on the person who wears the clothes rather than the clothes themselves.
We don't have any gender, age, nationality, or other boundaries for the people who wear soduk clothes, once the clothes are in their hands, they leave our hands. But until that time, we want to hand them over with the best performance we can give.
When someone falls in love with someone else, it should never be left to others to define that 'someone', and I think it is a very important moment that should be celebrated, no matter what the object of oneʼs affection.
I feel that it is likewise a blessing to move forward with what you want to wear and where you want to go with it.
